Here's the happy ending story of Shnipshtas:
It was 11th of May of 2007. I was looking to adopt the kitten for a while. One of my colleagues told me about TLC Animal Shelter. It took me accurately 5 minutes to grab my girlfriend and drive there, and I knew right there and right then, that I will not leave alone. As soon as I saw "my baby" I knew that this little bundle of grey fur will be my only ALWAYS irresistible LOVE! (I know, I know...it sounds little bit comical....) ...I took him out to play (he had a little sister just like him as well; I do hope she found loving home!)....and that little miniature baby kitten was scared. He was running from me, and hiding. I remember like now how one of the owners of the shelter told me to give two to four days to see how much of a difference that time will make. We had rough first week. He was hiding under our living - room coach crying all night, all day… we would take him to sleep with us, and then he would run away and hide under the coach again and start crying. But after few days he came to us to show us some love. We couldn't have been more happier. We had some funny phases: breaking things, switching from litter box to our bed, eating flowers, breaking new stand tables. All of it seems like nothing, comparing to how much love this little baby has given me! And we grew out of that phase. He became so friendly, loving, tidy, well behaved MR. CAT SHNIPSHTAS! :) Every now and then I donate few dollars to TLC Shelter, and just want to let you know, how much I appreciate what you are doing. I let all of my family and friends know about TLC Shelter and I truly do hope and pray that there would be more people adopting these animals, giving them love and home, because it is the most rewarding thing ever. Shnipshtas became my best friend, my best buddy, we even (most of the time) sleep together under he same blanket!!!!, he calms me down after tough day at work, listens to me and we do truly adore him! At the same time I adore you guys, for having this passion and strength to do great things. That’s my Happy Ending …with Shnipshtas as a part of my life!
