We believe he was raised with dogs because he comes when you whistle and acts more like a dog than a cat. I shave him every 2 - 3 months because of his very long hair (2 - 3 inches). |

She's been swimming since she was a tiny puppy and just loves to float on her raft and wait for water balls to be tossed to her. When she's not on the raft in the water, she can be found walking on the edge of the pool. Silly girl!! |

She just melts your heart with her wagging tail & big brown bright eyes. Whenever you see Thunder Babe you just want to pick her up and hug her! She totally brightens your mood whenever she is around. Thunder Babe is a perfect pack member! She wouldn't dream of chewing anything that is not hers! She is a great watchdog, has a super temperament and... she is even litter box trained! Wow! We just love her to bits! |

Entry 79: Piranha Banana, submitted by Jim & Marie White Piranha Banana was born on January 1, 2007 (2 1/2yrs old). He is friendly, smart and very sweet. Piranha has traveled to Colorado, Puerto Rico, Nebraska, Florida, Graceland, Disney World. Piranha brings a lot of joy to a lot of people. When people see him they smile and immediately want to hold and pet him. Piranha Banana can roll over, shake paw, high-5, spin, crawl in pocket and hide. Piranha is involved is various volunteer and animal welfare organizations. He also has his own chihuahua club which meets strictly for education and socialization. They play, they learn and they have events to help local animal organizations. Piranha Banana's favorite foods are pizza, carrots, chicken and of course, bananas! |

Entry 65: Aspen & Felix, submitted by Judy Jansen I actually bought Aspen (cat on the right) from you at TLC about a year ago at the last minute because I was so devastated with the loss of my cat Ashlee. My husband and I got married last June and went on our 10 day Honeymoon and I came home and my cat Ashlee was very very very sick. My parents just did not have the heart to tell me while we were on our honeymoon. So with all of the excitement of the wedding/honeymoon to come home to my very sick almost dead cat was just a complete let down. She did end up passing on that night. Then the very next day is when my sister-in-law brought me to TLC and I found little Aspen there looking at me with those beautiful blue eyes - he took my breathe away. Now we are as happy as can be and Felix and Aspen play and have the best time together. |

Entry 61: Bob & Minnie, submitted by Susan Riedel Best Buds!!! Here is a picture of our Dog Bob who we rescued as a puppy from TLC in 2007. Minnie the cat was a kitten that my Mom rescued from a mother cat did not want to care for her kittens after a few days, her and my step dad nursed 4 kittens only days old, day and night until they were able to eat on their own! Minnie and Bob are about the same age and niether of them know that they are different from eachother! they sleep together, play together and eat together, and Bob our 75 pound lap dog also likes to sit on the cat and get his face cleaned. |

The first one was a biter, then we saw a frightened, hiding cat, who was so shy, she did not want to play with the other cats at playtime. We felt so sorry for her, she was the one who needed us the most. Now, she is a happy, tail wagging, confident, nosy little girl, and we are so happy to have her. She doesn’t do anything wrong and is very well behaved. We are so lucky to have her. Gabby spent her first week here hiding. Gradually she came around, and now she is a playful, fun, healthy, interactive family member who loves to pose for pictures and talk to us and watch the outside birds. She is friendly and lovable and so sweet, we are just crazy about her. She has to investigate everything. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. |
