He married Jane REED in Olean, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, ABT 1825.⁽¹⁴⁴⁹⁾ Jane was born in NH 3 JUL 1805.⁽¹⁴⁵⁰⁾ Jane was the daughter of Stephen REED and Jane JEWELL.

John's occupation: Carpenter.

John PEAK and Jane REED had the following child:

Emiley A.² PEAK was born in NY circa 1843.⁽¹⁴⁵¹⁾ Emiley died 1924 at 81 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁵²⁾ Her body was interred 1924 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, Allegany Protestant Cemetery.⁽¹⁴⁵³⁾ She married Josiah H. BATTLES. Josiah was born in Buckfield, Cumberland, ME, USA circa 1820.⁽¹⁴⁵⁴⁾ Josiah was the son of Asa BATTLES and Lucy HOLMES. Josiah died 21 DEC 1892 in Olean, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, at 71 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁵⁵⁾ His body was interred 02 JAN 1893 in Olean, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, Oak Lawn Cemetery.⁽¹⁴⁵⁶⁾ Since the area around Oak Lawn had become residential by the 1890's and the cemetery (also known as Oak Hill Cemetery) was in poor condition, all graves were removed to the then new Mount View Cemetery in 1906.
