1. Jacob¹ GEIGER was born in Germany 24 APR 1841.⁽⁵⁴⁰⁾

He married Rossella KARL 12 NOV 1866.⁽⁵⁴¹⁾ Rossella was born in Bavaria, GER ABT 1842.

Jacob immigrated, 12 OCT 1854. Destination: New York City, NY.⁽⁵⁴²⁾ He was inducted into the military 1861.⁽⁵⁴³⁾ He enlisted in Co. H, 37th NY Volunteers and was discharged on the 6th of September of the same year for disability.

He was inducted into the military 1864.⁽⁵⁴⁴⁾ Jacob re-enlisted in Co. A, 188th NY Volunteers and served until the close of the war. He participated in many battles.

Jacob GEIGER and Rossella KARL had the following children:

3 ii. Joseph GEIGER.

4 iii. Catheryne GEIGER was born in NY March 1870.⁽⁵⁴⁵⁾ Kate died 2 DEC 1926 at 56 years of age. Her body was interred DEC 1926 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, St. Bonaventure Cemetery. She married Andrew J. LIPPERT 18 SEP 1890.⁽⁵⁴⁶⁾ Andrew was born in NY 12 JUL 1864.⁽⁵⁴⁷⁾ Andrew was the son of Georg Joseph LIPPERT and Consegunde SCHMITT. Andrew died 9 JAN 1940 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, at 75 years of age.⁽⁵⁴⁸⁾ His body was interred JAN 1940 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY, USA, St. Bonaventure Cemetery. (See Andrew J. 5 iv. Robert GEIGER.

6 v. Mary GEIGER.

7 vi. Rose M. GEIGER was born in Stevensburgh, Cattaraugus, NY ABT 1879. She married Adam G. GERRINGER. Adam was born 1873.
