He married Martha Ann HASKETT 27 FEB 1831.⁽¹⁴¹²⁾ Martha was born in NC 13 JUN 1810.⁽¹⁴¹³⁾ Martha was the daughter of Anthony HASKETT Sr. and Mary Ann ST. CLAIR. Martha died 16 FEB 1899 at 88 years of age.⁽¹⁴¹⁴⁾ Her body was interred in New Lisbon, Dudley Twnshp, Henry, IN, Leakey - Wisehart Cemetery.⁽¹⁴¹⁵⁾ The cemetery is located on the Dublin Pike, two miles NW of New Lisbon, Dudley Township, Henry, IN

John NEWBOLD and Martha Ann HASKETT had the following children:

3 ii. William H. NEWBOLD was born 15 SEP 1833.⁽¹⁴¹⁷⁾ William died 25 JAN 1862 at 28 years of age.⁽¹⁴¹⁸⁾

5 iv. Mary Ann NEWBOLD was born 29 DEC 1837.⁽¹⁴²⁰⁾
