Thomas MARSHALL and Elizabeth Bishop STODDERT had the following children:

2 i. Thomas Hanson² MARSHALL. He married Rebecca DENT. Rebecca was born 1715. Rebecca was the daughter of Colonel George DENT and Anne HERBERT. Rebecca died 1770 at 55 years of age.

3 ii. Sarah MARSHALL was born OCT 1735.⁽¹³⁷⁰⁾ Sarah died 9 APR 1795 at 59 years of age.⁽¹³⁷¹⁾ Her body was interred in Charles Co., MD, Marshall Hall.⁽¹³⁷²⁾ She married Brigadier General John DENT in Charles Co., MD, 27 FEB 1754.⁽¹³⁷³⁾ John was born in Clarke's Purchase, Charles, MD 1733.⁽¹³⁷⁴⁾ John was the son of Colonel George DENT and Anne HERBERT. John died 1809 in Pomonkey Hundred, Charles, MD, at 76 years of age.⁽¹³⁷⁵⁾ (See Brigadier General John DENT for the continuation of this line.)
