3. Gunnar³ RAMBO (Peter Gunnarson², Gunnar Matsson¹) was born in New Sweden, PA 6 JAN 1648. Later Philadelphia, PA Gunnar died JAN 1723 in Upper Merion Twp. Montgomery, PA, at 75 years of age.

He married Anna COCK 1670. Anna was born in New Sweden, PA ABT 1654. Anna was the daughter of Peter Larrson COCK and Margaret MANSDOTTER LOM. Anna died BEF 1723. He was a large land owner with property on both sides of the Delaware River. He had inherited land on Homan's Creek, Gloucester County, New Jersey, in 1698 and subsequently "purchased a tract of land in 1707 on the Schuykill River lying adjacent to Peter Cock's land, and the Widow Yokum's land on the south. It was near what is now Bridgeport, Pennsylvania."

Gunnar occupied a prominent place in the affairs of the province. He was a member of the first grand jury under William Penn and a member of the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1685.

The family belonged to the Gloria Dei church at Wicacoa.

Gunnar RAMBO and Anna COCK had the following child:
