Moray Scotland Connections

MORAY county in Scotland is where many of my husband's father's Scottish ancestors are from.
The towns of Dyke, Edinkillie, Forres are predominant.

ALVES family has been traced to circa 1700.
(Alexander ALVES, wife Janet McHATTIE and children emigrated to Canada in 1833)
McHATTIE family has been traced to circa 1780.
KERR family has been traced to circa 1750.
(Alexander KERR who married Helen ALVES, emigrated to Canada in 1833 as well)
