4. Your site will be judged on it's design:
- visual appeal (my personal taste)
- ease of navigation
- loading time (graphic intense sites are an exception to this as I don't mind waiting a few minutes if the result is worthwhile in my opinion)
5. Your site will be judged on it's content:
- sorry, English only or sites with an English version as this is my primary language.
- sorry, no under construction signs (they are not necessary as all good sites are always evolving)
- spelling, grammer mistakes and typos must be at a minimal ie: should not be found on each page. We are all not perfect so I will overlook some.
- give credit where it is due. Graphics, photos, and text that do not expressly belong to you must be credited to the author, photographer or artist, preferably on the page in which they are found.
- music is fine as I personally enjoy most forms of it.
6. You may apply for more than one award, however we reserve the right to present only those award/s that we feel are suitable for the site being reviewed.
7. Websites that adhere to the above criteria will be winners.

Most sites will be reviewed within 5-20 days from the time the application is received. If the wait will be longer due to vacation or other unforseen circumstances every effort will be made to post the new time period on this page. Please see above announcement effective Sept. 13th 2001.

Linking the award/s back to this site is a wonderful gesture and appreciated. However, this is not a mandatory requirement for award acceptance.
All winners will automatically be considered for our Diamond award. The Diamond award is presented once per month at the end of each monthly period. One site is chosen from the award winning sites of the previous month only, to be presented with our Diamond award. Diamond award winners have a permanent link, including banner link if they have one, and short site bio on the appropriate page. The Diamond winners page is accessed on our Main Index.
Diamond award winning sites are based on personal taste only. Every winning site of the awards presented within this award program has the opportunity of winning this monthly award. The most technically advanced award winning sites of any given month will not always be the Diamond winner.
Diamond winners are expected to display and link back this particular award upon acceptance.
