Alec ( Andras ) Demeter was born Aug. 5th, 1922 in Nyirbeltek, Szabolcs Hungary. To Mihaly and Julianna nee: Papp. He had 3 siblings, two brothers still living. Married twice both spouses still living. Alec had 3 children all still living. He emigrated to Canada age 5. His occupations included Business Owner, and Electronics Engineer. Service Clubs: Kiwanis. His hobbies included Science, Photography, Golf, and cooking. Alec my father, passed away July 6th 1999 in Toronto Canada.

Mihaly Demeter was born March 29th 1897 in Nyirbeltek Szabolcs, Hungary. His parents were Mihaly and Maria nee: Vaszicsku. They were farmers.  He married Julianna Papp on Oct. 31st 1921. They had 4 children, two still living. Andras the oldest was born 1922, Katherina died in 1924 as an infant. The family emigrated to Canada in 1928. Mihaly's occupations included Staff Seargant WWI and labourer.  Mihaly also known as Mike passed away August 17th 1973 in Toronto Canada.
