Seaborn H. Swann was born about 1844/1845 in Georgia. He was the son of Lemuel Swann and Elizabeth Park Swann, and the grandson of Henry T. Swann and Rebecca Davis Swann. He enlisted in the Troup Artillery (of Clarke Co. and surrounding counties of Georgia) as a private on 16 November 1862. He was living in Clarke Co., Georgia, in 1890.
