In the name of ALLAH, the beneficent, the merciful. |
|
Surely we revealed it on the grand night. |

Surah al Qadr |
| O ALLAH..... | |
| L | Let me pass my days in that (work) for which You have created me.... |
| A | And leave for my soul that of my soul which will set it right, for surely my soul perishes unless You protect it.... |
| Y | You are my recourse, if I am deprived, with You is a substitute for what is gone by.... |
| L | Let good flow out from my hands for people, but do not let me erase it by making them feel obliged.... |
| A | Adorn me with the adornment of the righteous, and clothe me with the ornament of the pious.... |
| T | Try me not with discontent.... |
| U | Unless You have reformed a faulty characteristic (of mine), do not leave me.... |
| L | Let there not occur any outward honor for me, unless there has occurred an inner degradation of an equal amount, within |
| Q | Quash (reject) not my prayer in repulsion, for I do not make anyone Your rival.... |
| A | Alert me to Your remembrance in times of negligence.... |
| D | Do not afflict me with indulging in what is contrary to (winning) Your love.... |
| R | Raise me not a single degree with people unless You have lowered me an equal amount, within myself.... |
