I'm Feeling Pain
by Barbara Philbrook

I'm feeling pain. I know it's for you.
I'm lifting you up in prayer as God wants me to.

This is all so very new to me,
but I look on it as a blessing you see.

To be allowed to pray when you hurt so much,
then to know God gave you a loving touch.

To be a part of God's great master plan,
to help in any way that I possibly can.

I don't know the how or the why,
and as to figuring it out I never try.

Just when the pain strikes I go to the Lord in prayer.
I know He's listening and will hear.

I know He will alleviate the pain for you,
and I always feel relief as soon as I do.

God hasn't revealed the reasons yet,
but this is something over which I never fret.

Thank You Father for allowing me to take part.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If there is anything further I can do.
I'm willingly, waiting to hear from You.

I'm feeling pain but I don't mind a bit.
It's our Father's plan and I'm honored to be part of it.
