I've Fallen
by Barbara Philbrook

I've fallen but I will get up and try again,
God gives me such grace since I invited Him in.

I now have strength to get me through,
and the very same is being offered to you.

When life gets tough and the going seems uphill,
God's shoulder shall be there I know it will.

When tears fall and my heart feels it will break,
a call to my Father is all it will take.

Though a change in circumstances may not be there to see,
still there'll be an inner peace within me.

The comforter resides within my heart,
and I am assured by Jesus that He will never depart.

I've fallen and stumbled many times in the past,
but the momentary sorrow just doesn't last.

I'm assured once the good work in me had begun,
that it would be continued till I'm home with God and His Son.

I'm a new person changed from what I was in the past,
looking toward a life with my heavenly Father at last.
