What Am
I?

What am I?
A question I often ask myself,
I am not a beautiful figurine to be placed on a shelf.
I am not a
figment of someone's imagination,
I am not made of glass which shall shatter due to
devastation.
I am not a
grain of sand that blows in the wind,
I am not someone's promise they can one day rescind.
I am the
product of my Heavenly Father's love,
He constructs my character by giving me grace and
strength from above.
He
provides the guidance which gets me through each day,
and hears my calls when I kneel to pray.
I look at
life through a glass dark and grim,
everything appears brighter when seen through Him.
I come to
know others from what shows on the outside,
God sees them from within where their real selves abide.
What am I?
Hopefully I am an outer expression,
of God's Spirit to whom I am a surrendered possession.
