Whereabouts of the original bible unknown, perhaps with
a member of the McMullen or Cook Family of Stirling, ON
This transcript is taken from five pages of photocopies
made for me in 1979, by the COOK family of Stirling, who
had borrowed it from another family member for this purpose.
Hugh McMULLEN is not my direct line, but was a brother of my
great, great grandfather Alexander McMULLEN. They were sons of
Stephen McMULLEN of Scottish origins, who was born about 1796
in the USA according to the 1861 census of Rawdon Township,
Hastings County, Ontario. Stephen does not appear in the 1871
census.
