IRELAND - Still in the Southwest
NO. I didn' kiss it....
Mizen Head, County Cork - The southwesternmost point in Ireland, cold, rough seas, lonely, except for an Irish Coast Guard station not too far from where these photos were shot. As I stood way above - at the highest land point - I could not help thinking of the fact that, if I could see beyond human capacities - and if the roundness of the world permitted it - I could possibly see São Miguel, away in the horizon, just by having the point as my immediate reference. Just think: Could it be possible that the above waves had visited the Azores before dying on an Irish beach?
