Matthew is an excellent rider. And Mama loves to watch him squeal as he mounts the horse!!! Horses are definitely cool.

Matty has been residential since he was six and a half years old. It was a difficult decision to make. I could not possibly detail how wonderful his school is and I know that the Lord found it for us and sent us there. It is a distance from where I live and I do not get to visit him as often as I would like. I think that I have learned that love sometimes means letting go. For me, I would have kept him home just so I could hold him and love him for myself. I realized that that would be selfish of me and that he deserved the best training in his early years as I could find for him. He is so cuddly and loveable! For me, I would have been satisfied just to sit home and hold him. I miss that but I remind myself that he doesn't belong to me like a favorite piece of furniture. He is a person and for whatever it is worth, he should have the most of life as he can have.
