Honey Oatmeal Bread - Bread Machine Recipe

      This bread is a wonderful change from white or wheat bread. It has a very pleasant taste and texture. It also makes the BEST toast and grilled cheese of any bread recipe I've tried so far! Mmmmmmmm

      2 pound loaf - Ingredients
      13 oz. water
      2 T honey
      2 T butter or margarine
      3 1/2 c. BREAD flour
      1 c. oats, quick or old fashioned - but NOT instant oatmeal
      2 T dry milk
      1 1/2 t. salt
      2 t. bread machine/fast rising yeast
      OR 2 1/4 t. active dry yeast

      10 oz. water
      2 T honey
      2 T butter or margarine
      2 1/3 c. BREAD flour
      1 c. oats, quick or old fashioned- but NOT instant oatmeal
      2 T dry milk
      1 1/4 t. salt
      1 1/2 t. bread machine/fast rising yeast
      OR 2 t. active dry yeast

      Add ingredients to bread maker in the following order: water, honey, butter, flour, oats, milk, salt. Make a well and add yeast. Set bread machine for proper size loaf. I like this bread best when done on a light or medium setting. When bread is done baking, remove from pan and let cool for 15-30 minutes before slicing
