In Her Mother's Words: Brittany was stillborn on September 17 , 1989. I was
7 months pregnant when she was born. The day was any normal day except we were at the hospital visiting my
husband's grandfather. I started having back pains real bad. I told my mother-in-law and she told me to go to the
emergency room. Brittany had a strong heart beat when they checked but about 30 minutes later, my water broke
and it wasn't long until she was born. I was on so much medicine that I don't remember a whole lot, but I do remember
holding her. She had a headful of black hair and she looked like me but had her Daddy's long legs and feet.
I lost her because my placenta wasn't developing right. They call it Placental Insuffiency. Brittany, you will be
forever missed and loved. You are my one and only forever baby. I will be with you one day sweetie; until then, sleep
with the angels.
Memorial lovingly submitted by Brittany's mother, Debra Holden
