WELCOME TO MORE KIDS CRAFT IDEAS!!!

RUNNING SHOE PENCIL HOLDER Have any ratty ole sneakers?? Or just don't fit anymore! Have the kids paper mache them using newspaper or even paper towels and water and glue. Put a plastic or styrofoam drinking cup into the opening before starting paper mache. Once dry they can be painted however you please!
A FOUR LEAF CLOVER BANK You will need: cardboard, toilet paper or paper towel rolls(4), green construction paper or paint and glue. Cut a circle from the cardboard - cover with green paper or paint green. Paint or cover the rolls green also. Glue the rolls onto the cardboard circle. Turn the rolls over and trace around the tops onto cardboard. Using this as a template draw a 4 leaf clover and cut out. Paint or cover with green. Cut four coin slots then glue onto top of rolls. You can label each slot "pennies""nickles""dimes"and "quarters" if you wish.
SECRET TREASURE BOXES You know those containers the chocolate eclairs come in - they can be used for something other than yummies! Let the kidlets decoupage them with tissue - they can add a large bead as a handle! You can ask at the grocers and they may sell you some (less then 20 cents) but I think better to buy them full then wash them!!! They can put all their secret treasures in them!
SAND CASTLE DOUGH Mix 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup salt, and 2 tablespoons of cream tartar. Add 1 cup of water mixed with 1 tbsp. cooking oil. Stir with a wooden spoon. Put the pot on the stove and stir for about 5 minutes over medium heat until it becomes doughy. Spoon the dough onto flavoured board to cool. When cool knead dough - shape into a sand castle or whatever you imagine. Let dry for a few days. Use markers to add colour where needed. Paint with a glue and water mixture and sprinkle sand on it. Let it dry then shake off excess sand. Glue felt to the bottom.
CANDLE  HOLDERS Cut the tops of the litre pop bottles - have the kids decorate the tops with decoupaging, glitter and glue, dimensional paint, 3D foil, whatever they wish - tapered candle fits right into the opening.
UNCOOKED PLAYDOUGH Mix 1 cup salt and 1 1/2 cups flour. Add 1/2 cup water and 2 tbsp. of oil. Stir and then knead. You can add food colouring also. Playdough will last for weeks stored in plastic bag or covered jar in fridge.
