Loveland is known as the "Sweetheart City". If you have valentines to mail, you can address them, send them to the Loveland Post Office, and they will put on a special stamp from the Sweetheart City.

This is a beautiful town of about 50,000 population. It is about 15 miles south of Fort Collins, where we stay at the Matador Apartments. Loveland is on highway US-34, which leads to Estes Park. It too has many nice parks that are used extensively by the citizens of Loveland. One of the better things to see is the "Sculpture Park". Picture 1, Picture 2. These sculptures are made by sculptors from all over the world, but Loveland also has its own renown sculptors. There are three foundries that produce the castings of these sculptors. They will set up tours if anyone is interested.

Loveland also has a fine Senior Center that is real active in the community. Loveland is where my son lives, and where I do most of my golfing. It has two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole par 3 course.

If you plan on taking a trip to Loveland, the Lovelander Bed and Breakfast would be a excellent choice of a place to stay. My son owns a Limousine Service that you can get. Click here for his webpage. href="http://www.roomsplus.com/campgrnd/co/l/col10071 .htm">camping, check out this page.
