You'll always be my Sometimes in life, you find a special friend; Someone who changes your life just by being part of it; Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop; Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world; Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is Forever Friendship. When you're down, and the world seems dark and empty, Your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times, and the confused times. If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. ~ I Know She Waits For Me ~

Before the dawn of morning
on a hillside soft and green
I see a shadow in the mist
and know she waits for me.

The yellow moon her backdrop,
the stars above her glow,
her eyes illuminate the night
and beckon to my soul.

The softly veiled expanse that lies
between her world and mine
reveals a tiny ray of light
where hope eternal shines.

This tiny light of promise starts
where earth and heaven meet
and in her eyes I see that I
need only to believe.

A gentle breeze is escort to
the early morning dawn
and for the slightest moment then
we breathe the air as one.

A songbird greets the sunlight
rising high above the trees
and as her shadow joins the light
I know she waits for me.

~ Somewhere Out There ~

Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me
And loving me tonight

Somewhere out there
Someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another
In that dream somewhere out there

And even though I know
How very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be
Wishin' on the same bright star

And when the night wind
Starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping
Underneath the same big sky

Gossamer strings all over their feet
Floating upwards to pull them apart,
Making it difficult for them to meet
Face to face and heart to heart.

They are only a few feet away
But constantly kept just out of view.
Merely longing to touch one day,
What are these dream lovers to do?

He is here while she is there,
Meeting briefly in their dreams,
Desperately seeking out somewhere
With kind skies and sparkling streams.

He is drawn to her inner beauty,
And she, to his love and devotion,
Wanting to touch for all eternity,
Wanting to share feelings and emotion.

Only begging for just one chance
To unite in clandestine endeavor.
she wants to experience romance.
He wants to love her forever.

In daydreams, as it is at night,
Seeking their very precious goal
Of just one touch or special delight,
Or finally merging, soul to soul.

In their past, love had been so cruel
Leading each one on a dismal, lonely quest.
To him, she is a priceless jewel.
To her, he represents the very best.

Lovers locked in dreams so sweet,
So very close, yet, so very far!
Lovers destined to finally meet
To discover who they really are.

Somewhere, they will find a place
Where bodies meet and spirits soar.
Somehow, they will come face to face
And then become dream lovers no more!

Let me be the person
that you walk with in the mountains
Let me be the person
that you pick flowers with
Let me be the person
that you tell all your inner feelings to
Let me be the person
that you talk to in confidence
Let me be the person
that you turn to in sadness

Let it never be the case
that we grow
too weary, impatient
or fearful
to sit and talk
to one another about our love.
Let us always remember that just sitting
and talking
to one another
is how we discovered
our love
in the first place.

It's partly because of you
and the special qualities you're got
that I've tried to be
a better person myself.
Your sincerity
your good natured attitude,
your optimism and your strengths...
all those things that have
given me a certain outlook
and a special way
of approaching life.
Having you in my days...
knowing you as I do
has helped me over the rough spots
and through the difficult times...
I feel like I owe you a lot,
but can repay you
with so little.
But as little as I have to give,
it would mean so much to me
just for you to know
that you've added to my days
and given life a special glow.

When we met
I was overwhelmed
