I Guess I never
realized
all the things you
did for me when I was growing up

Until I became a parent myself..
But now I remember how you would play
with me even when you were tired,
and when something was wrong, you'd
go out
of your way to make it better.
 

As I grow older, you'd listen and offer advice,
but you trusted me to make my own decisions.
All my life you've been there for me, loving me
and making me feel special.
And if I
never said "Thanks Mom"
 

I'm saying it now.
You're wonderful, Mom
You're the kind of mother I hope I can be.
