June 16, 2006 Happy Friday! It is going to be another pretty day here. The sun is shining and it is warm! I plan on laying out later. The other day I had my garden girl up and the closest I came was laying out! Oh well!
Yesterday I got the deck all cleaned up and Brian and I got the little frog fountain out that Ron got me for Christmas and hooked it up. I have to get a picture later and post it tomorrow. We took out the pond a few months ago. I got tired of cleaning it all the time and decided not to keep it. So I had to have some kind of water going on and this little fountain is just right.
I had been weeding the other day and now I have a touch of posion ivy on my neck! I wear rubber gloves when I weed just for that reason! I must have touched my neck. I am very allergic to it. I used to be home from school for a week in both the spring and fall with it so I don't go places that have it much. The last time I had it was in 1979 when Ron and I were hiking on Mt. Rainier out in WA! So it has been a long time. Just can't take anymore chances by weeding I guess! Awww I'm hearbroken!
Darylynn has me convinced to try Word Press, so I am anxiously waiting to hear from Jana!
Only two more days til the Tim and Faith concert! I can't wait. Well I need to have a cup of coffee and will be around to visit later. Have a nice day. Hugs

June 13, 2006 It is supposed to go up to 81º today, finally! Next week is calling for the 90's. I'm glad. I got a beautiful tan at the race last week, and I need to get out to keep it up!
Yesterday I took Brian for his orthodontist app. and he only has to wear his retainers at nite now. So he was happy. He doesn't have to go back for 6 months. I told him next time we go he will beable to drive me there! He will beable to get his permit August 4th. I had asked him if he was counting down the days, he said no because that just meant it was getting closer to going back to school!
I tackled my bedroom yesterday afternoon. It is all clean and dust free. Don't know if I will do any rooms today. I need a break!
Pepper is slowly adjusting more to me since I am home now. She has mastered getting up on the kitchen chairs now. Her and Curry play all nite long, running around the house. Sounds like a herd of elephants!
Sunday is the Faith Hill, Tim McGraw concert at Hershey. I can't wait to go.
Did anyone watch Hell's Kitchen last nite? Gosh did they ever throw away alot of food! I felt so bad for Heather when she got burnt. She seems to be the best one I see so far. He sure is mean!
Speaking of food, we are having BLT's for dinner tonight. I will be happy when the tomatoes start coming in so we can have fresh ones. The ones at the store are so hard and have hardly any taste. Have a good day. Hugs

June 11, 2006 It is cold out! We had temps go down into the 40's last nite! Good sleeping weather, but not very warm for the daytime! I actually have a sweater on now!
On Friday nite RC called me from graduation and asked me to come with him to see Brittany. It was nice. This class was small compared to his last year. They held it outside despite storms in the area. Well they just finished it in time. I was walking back to the truck when the rain came. I was glad they were able to have it outside. They left yesterday for the ocean for the week with all their friends. I was relieved for when he called me last nite to let me know they were there. It is about a 4-5 hour ride from here.
Yesterday we planted flowers and put mulch down. We didn't do it last year and the weeds are terrible! We pulled all of them and then covered it with mulch. Hopefully they will stay away now!
I started cleaning house and getting rid of things too. I always seem to spend a week or two after school lets out to get the house in order. I cleaned out Brian's closet today. What a mess! I found toys from when he was little. He will be 16 in two months and he surely doesn't need all those toys! Boys sure are messy!
For dinner Ron and I had spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, and garlic bread. It was good. I like cooking for two! It has been along time since I could do that.
I watched Cheaper By the Dozen 2 last nite. I liked it better than the first one. Today I also watched Match Point while I ironed. I liked it in the end, so I was glad I stuck it out. It was strange though!

June 9, 2006 I'm done with school! It ended today. I am enjoying knowing I really don't have to do anything for the next couple of months!
It has been awhile and I have been busy!
Two weeks ago I got my kitten. Pepper is her name. See is so cute. Slowly warming up to us. The first two nights she did nothing but walk around and cry. Ron wouldn't sleep in the room because shw was crying so much. She finally learned to get up on the bed with Curry and all is fine now. They have become inseparable. When Pepper goes to sleep, she is right by to keep an eye on her. They wash each other then beat up each other! It is so cute. Here are a few pictures.

On Memorial Day weekend, Kenny Chesney came to Hershey Park. I had bought tickets for RC and his friends, but not me. Well one of my basket girlfriends had a few, so I ended up going. He was awesome! When it first started, he came up out of the middle of the audience, right infront of me! When he turned and faced my way I thought I would die! He is so cute!

Last Sunday we went to Dover, Del. for the race. It was a perfect day. The sun shined but it wasn't hot. I got such a nice tan! We took RC's girlfriend, Brittany, and she loved it. She got some pictures of her driver and loved all of it. So she wants to go again next year when we go.
I have been scrapping alot too. I did a few pages for Curry last weekend. Other than that just little things keeping me busy. Hope to get around to everyone tonight! Hugs
