4 - 2" x 3 1/2" rectangles

Print Fabric (1) (Spring/Brights)

1 - 3 1/2" square

Print Fabric (2) (Spring/Brights)

8 - 2" squares

SEWING

Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of the 2" Print 2 squares.

Place a 2" square of Print fabric 2 on top of a 2" x 3-1/2" WOW rectangle with the right sides together and the marked diagonal line running from the center top to the bottom left corner. Sew on the marked line. Repeat with the three remaining background rectangles.

Cut 1/4" away from the sewn line and press the seam towards the Print fabric.

Now, add the other 2" Print fabric squares on the corner of this unit with the diagaonal line running from the center of the rectangle at the top to the bottom right corner.

Cut and press as before.

Lay out the block and sew together.
