Edward Wyatt (born 1620) whose father, Rev Hawte Wyatt, died in 1638, came to Virginia with his father on "The George" in October 1621.  They returned to England after his grandfather, Sir George Wyatt's death in 1623.  Edward came for the second time to Virginia with his distinguished uncle Governor Francis Wyatt, and settled permanently in this country.

Appointed Administrator for the Estate of John Clarke 23 April 1646 at York County VA, Represented widow Hannah Clarke in estate settlement of John Clarke 1652 at York County VA, Affidavit of Land Transaction 29 October 1655, Land Transaction: Obtained a patent for 1,230 acres "upon the Peankatak River" for the transportation of 25 persons 20 July 1662 at Gloucester County VA, Land Transaction: Acquired 850 acres previously owned by John Clarke 3 Sep. 1663 at Middle Plantation, Williamsburg, James City County VA, Land Transaction: Clarke tract sold to George Poindexter and Otto Thorp of Middle Plantation 1667 at Middle Plantation, Williamsburg, James City County VA, Buried 8 January 1668 at Boxley Estate, Gloucester County VA. The Wyatt Plantation on the Piankatank was named Boxley for the Parish in Kent England, and was later divided into Old Upton Estate, New Upton Estate and Oakley Estate.
