FROM KIMBROUGH GENEALOGICAL QUARTERLY-VOL 1,NUMBER 3 (August, 1964)
To date no record has been found of the maiden surname of his
wife Elizabeth, but land transactions and witnesses to land transactions
leave the
implication that she was the daughter of Robertson Graves, a neighbor of
the Kimbrough
family of that day. If this surmise proves to be correct, then all
descendants of
John Kimbrough, Jr. can extend their ancestry on the Graves line to a
Captain Thomas
Graves of the London Company and of the second supply to Jamestown.
