Week 9

This week I will be going to making over my favorite meals to make them healthier. I try using skim milk in my cooking, and lowfat cheese.

The Reward: I will take a long walk as it starts to feel a little more like spring, maybe even splash in a few puddles.

Week 10

Time to cut the fat. The latest says you should stay at around 30%. Much of the time if you try to cut down further than that you just end up binging on fatty food later. Here are:

The Reward: I am going to a dance production at the local college. They always have some wonderful event going on.

Week 11

Time to cut the sugar. This will be my hardest I think. I know I eat way too many sweets. Instead of big sugary desserts I am going to try hard candies with much fewer calories and fruit desserts like tropical salad with strawberries, kiwi, banana and pineapple.

The Reward: I will go to the library without the kids and read magazines.

Week 12

This week the kids and I are going on a walk everyday. I am hoping to get the fitness bug to rub off on my children.
