                      Hangover Chicken or Duck Soup

     1/2                fryer chicken, 1 1/2 lbs -- cut into 1 1/2" pcs
   6      cups          soup stock
   3      slices        ginger
     1/2  cup           lilly buds, soaked
     1/4  cup           dried wood ears, soaked
     3/4  teaspoon      salt
     2/3  cup           rice wine, sake, or dry sherry
          dash          white pepper
     1/3  cup           rice wine, added at end

Bring soup stock to a boil.

Add chicken, ginger, lily buds, wood ear, salt and wine. Let cook over medium heat for 15-17 mins. Before serving add pepper and wine to taste.
