THE WORD OF GOD

Lord, I'm so glad You speak in tones
So harmonious and sweet
Your words come through to light the way
For my clumsy, stumbling feet.
They make my heart sing with joy
When I see You truly care.
When I read Your words I understand
They're music in the air
Though at times they sound reproof
To correct my wayward ways
I nonetheless shall drink them in
Be blessed through all my days
Nothing else can take their place
Nor give me peace of mind
For they reveal the Way of life
In them it's You I find
