I am a Fawn & Rust Doberman, with a beautiful, shiny coat. Jake also has full dentition. Like the rest of my family, I have no coat problems whatsoever and receive only a good quality diet.



The picture on the top was taken when I was just six months old -- The one on the bottom is me at 10 months. I'm growing up!!!!

There's a lovely story that goes with my now having my own page...I was purchased as a pet ... like my older sister Ms. Moet. My owners had met Ms. Moet while vacationing down the Cape and were quite taken by her. At the time, they had another Dobe but took down the information as to where Ms. Moet had come from....on a small piece of paper tucked away for someday in the future.
Well, the future lasted only about one year....when their dobe became critically ill and went to the bridge.
After a frantic search for that tiny piece of paper, my owners contacted my breeder and decided to take me home....as a pet intended to just be obedience trained.

We all made a trip to a dog show in Springfield in November of 1997 to visit my brothers and my breeder....and Dad got totally hooked!!
He called my breeder and told her that the decision had been made that I will join my brothers Twister and Casey in the ring sometime this year. There were lots of reasons behind this decision, but Mom and Dad are mostly doing it because they are so happy to own me and want to give this gift of my show career to my breeder. No, the obedience training was not forgotten..I have just graduated from my second run of classes and have started handling classes already!!!

SO YOU KEEP LOOKING FOR ME!! I'll see you in the ring shortly -- Cause Nothin's Gonna Stop Me Now!!

JAKE JR. IS NOW IN THE RING BEING EXPERTLY SHOWN BY HIS HANDLER, GERRY MULL. HE WON THE 12-18 MONTH AOAC DOG CLASS AT THE PILGRIM DOBERMAN PINSCHER CLUB SPECIALTY, FOLLOWED BY HIS BREEDER/OWNER/HANDLED BROTHER CASEY IN SECOND PLACE!! He also won 1st in his class in the puppy sweepstakes!

I'm growing up now, and as you can see, I'm Looking Pretty Good!!

GOSH! THE PICTURES DON'T COME IN FAST ENOUGH!! JAKE JR. TAKES HIS SECOND RESERVE UNDER Judge, Sandra Dunn who just truly could not get past the fact that there is a FAWN DOBE out in the ring with proper conformation AND this DARK, THICK COAT!! -- WAY TO GO JAKE JR. AND GERRY!

MARCH 20, 1999 - Jake Jr. Wins Best Of Breed for a 5 Point Major under noted Judge Frank D'Amico at the Connecticut River Working Group Association!!



This Handsome young dog is making his breeder and his momma very proud!!
