"Ohmygawd!! I'm sitting here listening to "Dante's Local" again, trying to come up with the words to describe the CD and I just can't. Guess I'll have to dig out Megan's Thesaurus! Although the one word that kept coming to mind listening on the way home (well, alright, brilliant, funky, politically insightful and totally delightful did cross my mind!) was sensual!
Original Full Circle CD standards and more!!! J'Kael is, as he said, "all over" the CD and thank God he was!!! What a brilliant guitarist!
We'll have to wait to see who else contributed to the effort, since there aren't any liner notes!
Jack and I decided last night that if they ever take this configuration on the road, were quitting our jobs and becoming "camp followers"!! "

Sorry to have taken so long to let you know what I think about
Neil's new solo CD. I just can't seem to find the superlatives
to adequately describe the sound. AWESOME! just doesn't quite
seem to cover it!
Neil, you've done it again. I've listened to the CD so often,
I'm in fear of wearing it out. I can't decide which is my
favorite track, because I like them all.
Since Dave and I got an advance copy (no liner notes) I'm not
sure who else to give credit to beside Neil and J'Kael. The
sound is an excellent combination. Keep up the great work and
give us all more of this sound.
The new Full Circle CD "Irish Music In America - Volume
II" is also "outstanding, awesome, etc.". The Kelly
Brothers and Neil make great music together. As a member
of "Friend's of Full Circle" I say "way to go guys"!
The two new CD's make driving to and from work more exciting
than ever!

Greeting fellow EOH list members!
Now that Neil Anderson's new solo CD has been officially
issued I thought I'd give everyone a quick review of it.
I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of it at the
Mid-Winter fest in February. I don't think a day has gone
by since then that I haven't listened to some or all of
the disc. What a truly amazing collection of songs and
sounds - a true genius at work! (no exaggeration) It's a
great mix of traditional sounds with an interesting and
very appealing infusion of jazz sounds - and what a treat
to hear Neil sing a few songs - I just love his voice. I
think my favorite song is "Pound a Week Rise" - what an
awesome version of this song, definitely my new favorite
version. Anyway I urge everyone to get "Dante's Local"
when you get the chance - you definitely won't be
disappointed.
Looking toward Fairhills, MD on May 20!

Stay tuned...we hope to have more reviews to come!!
