I am seeking parentage/death/burial/will/obituary or land information on John Robert TOLBERT/TALBURT, born 1811 in Marshall County or Ohio County, West Virginia/Virginia. He is the father of John Robert TOLBERT/TALBURT, born 1838 in Dallas, Marshall County, West Virginia. His wife's name was Mary WILSON ( I think). In the 1850 census, there is a John R. TALBERT listed at the age of 12 (so this would be his son) in Marshall County. John Robert TOLBERT/TALBURT II served in Company A of the West Virginia 12th Infantry during the Civil War. He is listed in the 1830 census as living next to Josiah Talbert, who at the time was 60 to 70 years old. So that could make Josiah either his father or grandfather. Any help would be much appreciated.

My first relatives were signed in the 1867 Voter Registration as Joseph TALBOT and John TALBOT of Matagorda County, TX. Matthew TALBOT moved to Calvert, Robertson County, TX at some point where he died on 1 Oct 1876. I would like to ideally find probate records, slave sales records or anything that shows a direct connection between Matthew TALBOT and my relatives, Joseph and John TALBOT.
