IT'S
TIME
I
hear their call on the winds of time,
Drifting
across the ages,
Pleading
for someone to right the wrong,
Within
our history's pages.
Won't
someone please take a stand,
And
turn this wrong to right?
Untangle
the distorted, twisted lies,
And
bring the truth to light.
This
world has been shackled for too long,
By
the lies in history,
It's
time to unlock these forbidden doors,
And
the truth will be the key.
The
pages of history has glorified,
The
men who wore the blue,
Saying
they fought to free the slaves,
But
this was not quite true.
Under
the leadership of men like Sherman,
They
pillaged, plundered and raped,
Destroyed
or homes, burned our lands,
And
left a scar that gaped.
They
disgraced our men who wore the gray,
They
trod our flag in dust,
They
portrayed the South as treacherous men,
Who
betrayed America's trust.
How
long will you set silently by,
And
let these lies be told?
IT'S
TIME you bravely took a stand,
And
let the truth unfold.
You
must spread the truth about this war,
So
all the world will see,
And
PURGE the name of the men who fought,
For
the Southern Confederacy!
The Song Is: "DIXIE"
