ISO
9001 : 2000 ISO 14000
The
basic objective of every organization is to attain excellence
in economic performance. The most important factor for this is
the quality of products and services. A customer or buyer looks
for an organization, which has established consistency on customer-desired
parameters. It favorably influences his perceptions and provides
confidence. The Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 provides
the means for establishing customer oriented quality disciplines,
from top level downwards in all areas and functions, making quality
everyone’s job responsibility.
ISO
14000

quest for growth and market share and enticing customers, organizations
are expected to become responsible corporate entities. Environmental
concerns of the society pertain to eco system degradation, pollution
, health hazards and risks. All the associated costs and economic
fall out along with the effect on quality of the human and living
beings, flora and fauna have led to increased awareness in society.
These have even come to influence the consumption patterns of many
products. Adherence to EMS ISO 14000 enables an organization to
formulate policy and objectives taking into account legislative
requirements and significant environmental impacts and take up specific
measures to meet the environmental performance criteria for the
benefit of all the stakeholders.
