March Court, 1813 I James League, senior of the County of Amelia being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament. It is my will and desire that all my Estate both real and personal shall remain in the possession of my wife Mary Ann League during her life. At the decease of my said wife, my will is that the land on which I live shall descend to my son Joel League to him and his heirs forever. All the residue of my estate I leave to be equally divided among my three following children, that is my son Joel League and my two daughters Lucy and Rachel League except one feather bed and furniture which I bequeath to my son Elisha League should said son Joel or either of my said daughters die without heir before a division of my Estate is made, my will is that the property above willed to them be divided between the two survivors or that it shall belong wholly to the survivor if but one of them shall then be living, the other two having died without heir. My children hereafter named are to have no share in the distribution of my estate they having already received their full proportion that is Joshua Leauge, Joab League, Oney Chapman, Drucilla Waddill and the children or heirs of Benjamin and George League, deceased. I constitute and appoint my son, Joel League my Executor Intestimony where I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight.
