Golden Oldies

She's got to be an angel.... She had that special glow. I Know that she's in Heaven and she loved the Lord,"I know."
I Wonder if you've seen her. She's probably in God's Choir... She'd be singing harmony, you'll know her by her smile.
And if you need some laughter when troubles get you down... She'll tell you her funny stories, to wipe away those frowns.
She's a "Golden Oldie"... ..and I hope she got her wings. I remember mother, and I still can hear her sing.
We lost her in her golden years, much before her time. Her days with us are over, but we know shes doing fine.
I bet he heard her singing as he held her in his view. God must have needed her beautiful voice to fill a vacant pew.
We miss her witty humor and her sweet and caring heart. But her days on earth were lonely. I quess, she earned a brand new start.
So, should you find my mother, hug her once for me. Tell her, I hung her picture above my Christmas Tree.
He's got to be an angel. We lost him in July. "Mother, Have you seen him?" "He's such a special guy!"
He's my husbands father, I hope you two will meet. Take him by his hand mom and lead him to his seat.
You'll know him by his Kindness and his sweet, shy, boyish smile. He's probably with "Luke the Drifter", singing, "My Mansion In The Sky."
Mom, I know you'll comfort him and make him feel at home. Please, walk with him and guide him, don't let him stand alone.
Speak with him of music, charm him with a song. Have you seen him mother? Hes been away so long.
Tell him your funny stories to help him laugh again. Speak to him of his family, remind him, of his kin.
Tell him how we miss him, Hug him once for me. He's a "Golden Oldie" and a precious memmory.
