"My Mansion in the Sky"
Ray Emmerson Catlin
For all the years I've loved you as a father and a friend I was proud of each one of you to the very end!
The joys that you have given me, my children and my wife Will live with me forever in my mansion in the sky. You see my Life's not over, its only just begun. For now I'm with you always, In your hearts and in your sons.
My daughters when you think of me, Please don’t shed those tears, For I will not desert you, my love is always near. Remember how I'd comfort you, when you were just a child? Well, daughters, I'm still holding you, in my mansion in the sky.
Tell my sons and their sons how very proud they made me, For in their Eyes my light will shine, for I am always with them. Tell my little babies, How dear they are to me, The sunshine that they brought to me made my last Days sweet!
And to my wife of 50 years, You’ve always held my heart. It saddens me to leave you-For we've never been apart! And when the night grows silent, and you are home alone, You'll have my heart there with you, right where it belongs. And should you feel a shiver sometimes late at night, It's only me caressing you, from my mansion in the sky.
Don’t think of me with sadness, there's loved ones all around, The sun is warm, the sky stays blue and peacefulness I've found. So listen to me loved ones, don’t grieve for me and cry, And when you hear those Old songs, don’t think of me and sigh. Cause when those songs are playing, its only Mark and I, We're singing with "Luke The Drifter" from our mansion in the sky. LOVE YA Easy… Till we meet again…
