"Deep In The Darkness"

In the darkness of this lonely soul
deep deep deep with in.
Sometimes drowning in my own grief.
Like being buried in a
grave yard hole.

Tears of sorrow stream
down this face.
Eyes that are swollen from
lack of sleep.
Desperately reaching and
searching for a warm
embrace.
I need to get off of this
down hill pace.

In the darkness is where I stay
behind this facade I show.
Needing and yearning
and falling deeper.
Hiding and nobody knows.

Can't they see through this
mask I wear?
Don't they see that I'm not there?
Are they all so blind?
Or do they just don't care?

Deep in the darkness,
deep in this hole.
This is no where for
someone to go.

I grasp for the edge
but have no strength.
and I slide deeper into
this hole.
Deep in the darkness
where nobody knows.
Deep in the darkness
of this lonely soul.
