Obituary - Rebecca Louise Linn

Rebecca Louise Linn's Obituary
Departed this life in Lexington District South Carolina at late residence of her father, Thomas Shuler deceased. Mrs. Rebecca L. Linn on May 31, after lingering illness of some two months, at age 28 yrs. 5 mos. 4 das. She was united in wedlock to Joseph A. Linn of Rowan Co., North Carolina 11-27-1845, where she lived in happy union with her surviving husband until a few weeks beore her death when she made visit to friends and relatives in Lexington, So. Car. She became member of Evangelical Lutheran Church 1835, but did not experience change of heart till 1838, since which time she enjoyed the comforts of redeeming grace in her heart. She was buried at St. Michael's Church, Lexington, So. Car. and Rev. C. Haltiwanger, Sr. preached the sermon - 2 Timothy, 4th chapter, 7 & 8th verses.
