LOVING GOD

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Psalms 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: [for] the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalms 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Psalms 116:1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications.

Mark 12:29-31 And Jesus answered him, {The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:} {And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.} {And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.}

John 5:39-44 {Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.} {And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.} {I receive not honour from men.} {But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.} {I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.} {How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that [cometh] from God only?}

Romans 5:1-6 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

II Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

I John 4:16-19 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.

I John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
