I asked God to take away my pain.
God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
I asked God to grant me patience.
I asked God to give me happiness.
I asked God to spare me pain.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me.

When we confess our sins and ask Jesus to be our Savior and Lord, we are adopted into God's family and we become the children of God. He then begins to speak to us and guide us into a proper knowledge of who He is and what He expects of us. God has promised that he always will do that which is best for us. He said:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Jeremiah 29:11
The Bible also says, "The fear of the Lord (reverence, respect and obedience to God) is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge and understanding." (Psalms 111:10 & Proverbs 1:7 & 9:10). God will always guide us to do the right things and help us if we seek His guidance and follow what He tells us. God always does the best things for us even if we don't understand how the circumstances in our life are working for our good:
"And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28
If you have understood that Jesus died in your place and have already received His gift of eternal life, Praise the Lord!! -- If not, why not receive Him right now? ---
We encourage you to refer to the LIFEQUEST "Food for Thought" topics of Salvation and Gospel which will further explain what He has done for you, how much God loves you and show you how to receive Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Then He will begin to guide you along the right path, give you Godly wisdom, and ultimately receive you up into glory!
God bless you and have a great day!
