Wow, another week gone by already. I think that that is what happens when the school year approaches. You feel like you are being drawn toward a black hole, and there is nothing you can do about it. Oh well, better make the best of it, because the storm is about to hit. (I think I might board up the windows, though). This week was spent by Cinda and Brad working on schoolwork. We are planning the curriculum for our classes, and it is a lot of work. Cinda keeps using the computer, so we had to go out and buy a laptop computer so Brad could get some time to do some of his work. Cinda can get quite nasty when you try to hoard in on her computer. Finally took down Alaina's crib this week. We put up a little toddler bed for her. She likes sitting on it. The first few nights, she did great, not even getting up once. However, the past three nights, she has gotten up continually for about 1 to 2 hours. We just keep putting her back to bed. Hopefully, she will get tired of us putting her back down and just stay down. Brad also went to Mom and Dad's on Tuesday to finish up some trim around the door that brad and dad put in. It only took about 4 hours !!! Took some more pictures of the finished garage to give you an appreciation for the fact that the car now fits inside the garage. It looks great! You can also see the part where we ripped out the cabinets and now there are just shelves there. We still need to paint it, but for now this is how it looks. Friday, we all went to Olive Garden to celebrate a lot of good work done for the summer and a new beginning for the school year. I love Chicken Parmigian! Saturday, went to Office Max because they had a teacher day where teachers get big discounts on things for the classroom. Stocked up on all sorts of good stuff. Well, that is all for now, next week we start school. We are going to Prescott for a staff retreat Monday and Tuesday. Should be fun. The rest of the week will be spent furiously trying to finish everything for the school year. SEE YA |
