This site is dedicated to my grandparents, Isaac and Dora Davis. Their strength, courage, and ability to overcome hardships left their descendants a legacy that will endure well into the new millennium. I am an African American, and the first known history of my family began in Haywood County Tennessee, specifically the city of Brownsville. Through this website I hope to share with visitors a very personal and compelling story that in some ways parallels the history of many African American families. The Davis Family History Page, and the Nann and Elisha Davis (my parents) Page is a good place to start your visit. This site is an ongoing effort, and it is my hope that each of the children of Isaac and Dora Davis will be represented here in due time. As more information becomes available it will be added.
