| For Those We've Loved and Lost |
| The seasons mark the time That hasn't healed the pain Of knowing that what was Will never be again. I have so many memories Of a time gone by That each time they come to mind I break down and cry. Oh, those wonderful memories That I hold so very dear I'd give them all up though Just to have you here. I just can't get over That it wasn't everlasting But I never thought this loss Would be so devastating. You see, I never truly knew How hard this loss would be Because when I lost you I lost a piece of me. And I only hope you know How very much you're missed. By having you in my life, I know that I've been blessed. |
