Notes for Thomas MILLER

In 1835 they moved to Cherokee County, Alabama. There Margaret Miller,
the
wife of Thomas died. The youngest child, Mahulda, only eight years old,
lived
with her oldest sister, Lucinda.

After the death of his wife, Thomas Miller went back to South Carolina.
Later
he married a Mrs. Conner. Their children were Jane, Luvaine, and Tommie.

Some time after the death of their mother, the children by his first wife
moved
to Floyd County, Georgia, near Rome.

In 1856, Wesley Miller and his brother John Y., went to bring their
father and
brother Jesse Miller's family to Georgia.

Four years later several members of the family decided to come to
Alabama. In 1860 these families came in covered wagons to Crumley's
Chapel.
