He was a member of the 2nd Congretional Church of Attleborough in 1749.
elizabeth was, as well, having been admitted form the First Church.
there were 8 women named Elizabeth who were admitted to membership in the
period 1741-2. Elizabeth Dryer is the only one who fits the bill. she
was b. 1717 and could have been thought to have been in her 55th year in
April 1772. She married Benjamin PIERCE of Voluntown, CT on 19 Nov 1742,
accrdoing to Rehobeth vital records as quoted in the DRYER genealogy.
PIERCE, Benjamin of Westmoreland, NH was a signer of the revolutionary
Association Test, giving assent (by the colonial government) to oppose
the British invasion of the United American Colonies (pg 156, vol xxx NH
state papers).
