I , Mathias Kerschner of the Borough of Shamokin in the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding to make my last will and testament,
And first I direct that my body be decently interred in the grave yard at St. Peter's Church in Shamokin Township.
Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catharine Kerschner all my personal property absolutely and forever. Item, I give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Catharine Kerschner the use and occupancy of all my real estate so long as she shall remain my widow and if she should not Marry again then she is to have the use and occupancy of my real estate during her natural life And at the death of my widow or should she marry again I direct that all my real estate shall be sold and the money be divided as follows: to my son Henry Kerschner, I bequeath one share To the wife and children of my son Daniel Kerschner, one share To my son Joseph Kerschner one share To my daughter Rose Kerschner one share To my daughter Lucinda Kerschner one share The money thus divided between my children to be for their own proper use and [illegible] forever.
And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my----to be the executor of this my last will and testament, and authorize him to cary[sic] out my requests In witness thereof I Mathias Kerschner the testator have to this my will and testament written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of November A. D. one thousand eight hundred and Ninety.

At Shamokin this fifteenth day of November 1890 the above named Mathias
Kerschner signed and sealed this instrument and published and declared
the same as and for his last will and we in his presence and at his request
and in the presence of each other have hereunder subscribe our names as

Be it remembered that on this 9th day of March A. D. 1891 before me
personally appeared J. R. Conrad + E. W. Keller the subscribing
witnesses to the foregoing instrument of [illegible]ing to be the last
will and testament of Mathias Kerschner late of the Borough of Shamokin
county and State of foresaid deceased, who being duly sworn according to
law did declare and say that they were personally present at the execution
of same and saw and heard the testator therein named: sign, seal,
publish, pronouce and declare the same as and for his will and testament,
and that at the time of so doing he was of sound disposing mind, Memory
and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Be it remembered that on this 9th day of March A. D. 1891 before me was proved approved and insinuated in due and common form of law the last Will and testament of Mathias Kerschner late of the Borough of Shamokin county and State of aforesaid deceased who died on the 9th day of February A. D. 1891.
