Will of Mary Morgan, 1879
 

     I Mary Morgan of Treverton[sic] Northumberland County Pennsylvania being of Sound mind, and desiring that any and all property of every kind I may now or hereafter have or own, may be managed invested, distributed or divided as the case may be, without trouble or confusion by those I desire, as well after as before my death I publish this my last will hereby revoking all former ones
     And first, after deducting all expenses necesarily incured[sic] by reason of my dissolution.  I direct that all my property of every kind be disposed of in accordance with the intestate laws of Pennsylvania
     And I do hereby constitute and appoint my son James W. Morgan Sole Executor of this my last will and testament
     In witness whereof I Mary Morgan the testator have to this my will, written on one sheet of paper, Set my hand and seal this 2nd day of August A. D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine.

Signed sealed published and[missing line] Mary Morgan for her last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto[missing line] at her request as witnesses thereto in presence of said testator and of each other

Be it Remembered That on this Eighth day of April A. D., 1881 before me Geo D. Bucher, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting of Letters of Administration in and for said County, Personally appeared W. Z. Raker and Henry Z. Raker the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mary Morgan late of Trevorton County and State aforesaid, deceased, who being duly Sworn according to law did declare and say that they were personally present at the execution of the same and saw and heard the testatrix therein named, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the same as and for her last Will and Testament, and that at the time of so doing she was of sound, disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.

I James W. Morgan do swear that as executor of the foregoing last Will and Testament of Mary Morgan deceased I will well and truly administer the goods and chattles, rights and credits of said deceased, agreeably to law, and that I will comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritances.  And I do further swear that she died on the 26th day of March A. D., 1881
